Winehouse's mother says she's recovering
Amy Winehouse's mother Janis has spoken about her daughter's Grammy success, saying that she believes the vocaliser is on "the road to recovery".
Winehouse picked up five-spot Grammy awards merely could non attend the ceremony in Los Angeles because of visa problems. She performed at the event via satellite from Greater London.
Speech production on 'GMTV', Janis Winehouse said: "Good, as you saw, she looks good and it's a event of she's on the road, and that's what it's about, she's on the road to retrieval."
"I think it would hold been also much for her because entirely of the travelling and flying thither, I stand for sightedness what the Grammys was like... we could watch it subsist from thither and I thought if Amy were on that point, she'd be lost in it, she'd be a little fille doomed in it."
Speech production around her daughter's Grammys performance, she said: "Easily, it's Amy coming back, she's in spades on the fashion back."
The star's mother also rung more or less her fears for her daughter's health before she entered rehab, saying: "She was sorting of with it but non with it, and that's the thing where I think fortuitously, thank goodness in our kinsfolk, she's got a solid kin and we're entirely there for her."
