Evan Bartholomew, under the soubriquet Bluetech, produces his unique trend of experimental noise from San Diego, CA. Classically trained on the forte-piano for populace playacting, Bartholomew deviated from the traditional sounds and began to verbalize the rhythms that sprouted from inside him, and Bluetech was born. This resulted in his interpreting of nature's formulation of being, a sound that is dronal ambient, downtempo, improvisational. He devoured the electronic potentials for melodious look and conveyed it in IDM, digidub, and psychedelic trance.


Bartholomew created and runs his own art corporate in San Diego and does commercial reasoned design and output for both national and regional clients. He too writes and produces his own songs. "The Rubicon", "Prayers For Rain", and "Mezzamorphic" originally appeared on an EP released by Truffle Records, and brought the name Bluetech to a larger consultation. In September 2003, these songs appeared on Bluetech's number one album, Prima Materia, released by Waveform Records.

Hasidic New Wave is a five-person group that blends the sounds of mod jazz and funk with the elder traditions of Hasidic religious songs, resulting in both up-and-coming improvisations and original whole caboodle. Trumpeter Frank London and saxophonist Greg Wall plowshare the duties of leader. The two musicians accompanied the New England Conservatory together decades earlier connection to class Hasidic New Wave. Guitarist David "Fuse" Fiuczynski, bassist Fima Ephron, and drummer Aaron Alexander round of golf game out the radical. Festivals catering to assorted genres let welcomed the set, including alternative rock stages in New York, Jewish music festivals in Europe, Budapest's populace music venues, and festivals for new music in the U.S. In accession, the group has appeared at jazz festivals in New York, France, Holland, and Finland. Hasidic New Wave's first tour was held in conjunction with Jewish Avant-Garde Musicians, or JAM. The band's collaborations include a Judeo-Muslim album with Yakar Rhythms, the Knitting Factory Records liberation coroneted From the Belly of Abraham. The deuce bands appeared together in 2000 on the stage of the New York Jazz Festival. The operation was later airy on a jazz program set together by Black Entertainment Television.


Bandmembers bring divers and eclecticist backgrounds to their joint effort. London helped establish the Klezmer Conservatory Band and the Klezmatics, and he has contributed music to phase productions and movies. He as well plays trumpet for Les Miserables Brass Band. His credits include recordings with Itzhak Perlman, David Byrne, LL Cool J, Jane Siberry, John Zorn, Mark Ribot, Mel Torme, They Might Be Giants, Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy, Gal Costa, and LaMonte Young.


In addition to his run with Hasidic New Wave, saxophonist Wall is as well a member of the Simcha All-Stars and Klezmerfest. At Rutgers University in New Jersey, he holds the posture of theater director of the Jazz Faculty Ensemble. He has recorded or appeared with such artists as Avantango, the Jazz Vultures, Billy Hart, D. Sharpe, the Cybernetic Saxophone Quartet, the Hi-Tops, Neshama Carlebach, Kenny Barron, Miroslav Vitous, Bill Frisell, Kolos, and the Piamenta Band.


Guitar player Fiuczynski fronts his have radical, the Screaming Headless Torsos, an outfit that in 1996 landed on Musician magazine's list of the topper ten bands of the year. Like Hasidic New Wave's co-leaders, he has appeared on albums by Hart and Zorn. His other credits admit albums by George Russell, Jack Walrath, Bernie Worrell, Me'Shell NdegéOcello, Mark Shim, and Bob Moses. Bassist Ephron is likewise voice of Fiuczynski's Screaming Headless Torsos and the Lost Tribe. She has performed with a number of artists working in respective different genres, including David Tom. Drummer Alexander is part of the band Babkas, and over the age has established and lED several other bands. He has contributed to recordings by such artists as the Tronzo Trio, the Mazeltones, the Satoko Fujii Orchestra, the Jay Clanton Sextet, and Myth Science.
